Therapy Dog Program

The school welcomes two therapy dogs every Thursday. A therapy dog is a dog that is trained to provide love, comfort, and support to people, typically in hospitals, nursing homes, nursing homes, schools, libraries, and other settings. Getting along with a therapy dog can effectively reduce learning pressure and relieve one's own emotions.

Today, because Macy's owner is unwell, only Lola (the black dog in the picture) came to school. She is a five-year-old dog. In addition to coming to uOttawa campus every week, she also goes toCHEO(Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) brings comfort and happiness to unfortunate children.
