It's snowing again in Ottawa after a few weeks. It's been a warm winter this year, much warmer than the "classic" winter, even 6 degrees the other day, so much so that the skating at the Rideau Canal closed after about a week of being open, and hasn't been reopened until today.
Snow removal operations on college campuses are much more diligent than on exterior roads, where exterior sidewalks may require a full day's wait before clearing can begin, and possibly longer if it's a weekend.
